The curriculum incorporates both liberal arts and science courses, which help students develop clinical reasoning and intuition. You'll apply evidence-based practices to impact change in health practices both locally and globally. The program integrates Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) Core Competencies, AACN The Essentials: Core Competencies for Professional 护理 Education, and the UD Marianist educational philosophy of educating the whole person.

UD's innovative 护理 program collaborates with the Sinclair Community College 护理 program, which allows students to complete both an associate of applied science in nursing (ASN) degree and a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree. Pre-licensure 护理学生s will be dually enrolled in the UD BSN and Sinclair ADN degree programs (commonly referred to as a pathway program).

Hands-on 学习ing at a Variety of Facilities
Sinclair uses clinical sites at variety of Dayton-area hospitals & 医院系统(Premier 健康), 凯特林健康网络, 代顿儿童), long-term care facilities and community agencies. Dates will be listed on our homepage as they become available.

The UD 护理 program collaborates with Sinclair Community College to prepare graduates to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX) to practice as a registered nurse (RN):
- 第一年: 护理学生s attend classes at UD.
- 第二年: 护理学生s attend classes at UD and begin classes at Sinclair during the spring semester.
- 三年级: Classes continue, concurrently, at UD and Sinclair.
- 第四年: Classes continue, concurrently, at UD and Sinclair. 成功完成四年级课程后, students receive an associates degree in 护理 from Sinclair and a Bachelor of Science in 护理 degree from UD. Students will be eligible to take the NCLEX exam after graduation from Sinclair and UD.
